One of the things I'm known for is running seamless self-produced Seminars.
It started with the Lace Wig Mastery Training Seminar and now I have added Million Dollar Stylist® LIVE! & the 5-Day Roadmap To Results Bootcamp.
The question I get asked the most is how in the world I'm able to go from idea to a sold out seminar effortlessly.
Here's my answer:
Step 1: Choose your idea. This should be something you're not only good at, but something you can literally write a book on.
Step 2: Get your thoughts on paper. In order to go from idea to seminar you've got to get all of your thoughts on paper. Once you do that you have to organize your thoughts in the order you do them.
Step 3: Choose a name. The name of your seminar should tell the perspective attendee what they get as a result of attending. Like for instance “Lace Wig Mastery Training Seminar”. A rule of thumb is to think about the result they get from what you're teaching.
Step 4: Find your location. Where will you have it? If you already have a space, great…you can move on to step 5. If you don't have a space you'll need to start scheduling dates with hotels to check our their facility.
Step 5: Once you choose your location, set a date. Give yourself at least 3-5 months to start marketing your event.
Step 6: Start marketing. Marketing your event is very important, but you don't want to sell, sell, sell, you must be providing some up-front value about the topic you're going to teach.
These 6 simple steps will get you started in creating your own event, but if you want to learn even more and do even deeper with creating your own Seminar I'm launching a brand new live class called… Seminars That Sell: How to Plan, Promote and Deliver “Sold Out” Seminars!
This class where you'll be with me live every week for 4 weeks. We will have 30 minutes of LIVE Q&A, and if you have questions after that you'll have the opportunity to have your questions answered by both Ricky and I.
This is a class that you've got to be at. Space will be limited, so be sure to stay tuned for more information!
