My New Favorite Product For My Relaxed Hair

A few weeks ago I decided to go back to a relaxer after about 5 years.

The one thing I struggled with for the first week after my hair was done was extreme dryness!

Now, I'm a HUGE proponent of only using the highest quality products on my hair, but being natural for so long I can honestly say that I forgot how to care for my relaxed hair!

So, what did I do?

I looked in the cabinet to see if I had any “relaxer friendly” hair products.

I didn't. But, what I did have was some good ole pure virgin Coconut Oil.

I grabbed a quarter size and massaged it into my scalp and out to the ends of my hair.

I then slept in a silk scarf as I always do, and man my hair LOVED it!

Not only was it moisturized, it was also soft and not too greasy.

So, before you think about going to buy that next best product you saw someone else use, try using some pure virgin coconut oil and let me know how that works!
