Happy New Year! I know that a lot of things happened in 2020. But it was a year of clarity. A year we saw things the way we have to see them the way they should be. I am excited for 2021 and I thank every individual and new faces speaking and listening to me with open ears.
One of my favorite scriptures in the Bible is Deuteronomy 8:18 which says:
“But remember the Lord your God, for it is he who gives you the ability to produce wealth, and so confirms his covenant, which he swore to your ancestors, as it is today”
Moses once talked to the Israelites and told them to remember the Lord. We always have to remember that everything that we have came from the Lord, our God. That is why I am not using the word “self-made”. Everything that I do and I have is not possible, if not given by God.
Deuteronomy 8:19 says:
“And if you forget the LORD your God and go after other gods and serve them and worship them, I solemnly warn you today that you shall surely perish”
When we become successful, like in business, we tend to forget to remember the journey and how we started. We forget to thank the Lord who gave us the techniques. I can still remember when I called to the Lord because I didn't know how to do this and that. God opened the door for me to learn. To be consumed with money and growth leads to destruction. We have to fix our eyes to God and everything will fall into place.
Mistakes are part of the journey and you should never lose sight. We have to know how to read the manual and learn rather than figuring things out on our own that consumes so much time. Seek the Lord and you will be directed. As Proverbs 3:5-6 says:
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding, in all your ways acknowledge Him and He will direct your paths”
There are people who have been called to business because the seed sown needs to go back to the Kingdom. We have to share what we have and give it back to the Lord.
I thank God for the mercy. Commit to the Lord this 2021. Your business is His business and you are a vessel to complete a mission. You have to surrender yourself.
I thank God for allowing us to see another year and letting us value life. Lord, continue to use us and let us understand that it is our ministry to do business.
I am praying to the Lord to help those in business. Begin to purge all the things that You are not. Give us divine cleansing for this year by uprooting all the negativities and by dismantling the power of our enemies.
You have to remember that you are worthy of everything.
Pour unto us the understanding, wisdom, love, and mend all the broken hearts and relationships in business and in our personal life. Purify our hearts and let us hear the tongue of the learned. Bless every part of our body that we use in business. Let us have a deeper intimacy with You.
Break the chains that are holding us back and I thank you for the immunity to criticism.
Commit your time to the Lord and always pray. This is your season! Allow God to direct your paths.
And for every individual, I pray to the Lord, to close the doors that should not be opened, enlarge territories, and bless everyone with overflowing blessings.
