Check out my brand new mentorship program here:

Over the past few years, my mentorship program has evolved to what it is today. I can honestly say I've had the privilege of working with some of the industry's most talented stylists and beauty professionals.

My 90 Day Business Mentorship program ends in a 5-Day Event in Las Vegas just like the one for my Lace Wig Mentorship Program. On graduation day, my students have the opportunity to share their experience with others.

Alicia Igess owner of The Urban Tangles salon is an incredible stylist and has a fantastic product line that is a MUST TRY! Check out this video to hear her share her experience.

Stop Feeling Guilty For Making Money

As entrepreneurs it's easy to fall into the mindset of feeling guilty for the success God has given you! That's the opposite of how we should feel. You should never feel guilty for making money. Our money is God's seed, and it's our responsibility to sew it into ground that reaps harvest, not the opposite. Check out this video from my last event where I share personal and private information about why that's important.

My Double Mastectomy Update

Back in 2017 I elected to have a prophylactic double mastectomy with immediate reconstruction. Last year I had a complication that almost resulted in death, and in this video I'm updating you on everything that has been going on.

“Discipline, Self-Love, & Trust…”

As we're getting towards the end of the year, you may be experiencing a million different emotions depending on where you're at in life, or in business. Listen, I understand, BUT that doesn't mean you need to live there.

Feeling that way is actually a good thing because it lights a fire under your butt to motivate you to do whatever it is you know you're needing to do.

It takes 3 key things to help you get to that point, and a recent 90 Day Mentorship graduate LaSonya Burnett shared exactly what those 3 things are when she was interviewed about what she learned from my 90 Day Mentorship program.

Check out the video below.

Those 3 things are: …

The Daily Journal: Goodbye Grandpa

It's been a few days since I wrote to you, and there's a good reason why.

On my way back from San Diego, CA two days ago I got a call that my grandpa died. I'm so thankful I flew out there just to see him a few weeks ago and got to spend some quality time with him.

When I was broke growing up, my Grandpa would give me money for gas and always did his best to help me move forward. I'm going to miss him a lot. But I'm thankful he is now in heaven with my mom.

Today is always unique in that it's my moms birthday. It's been about two years since she died. My mom lived with us for two years before she died, and it was hard to see her leave but my memories will last forever, and I'll see her in heaven when my time comes.

But I never want to leave one of my daily journals to you without a takeaway when possible.

If there's any advice I could give you, it's to make your relationship right with your parents. Even if it's been a rough go, find a way you can make the relationship works where there's no strife, it's not worth living your life with strife. Be the bigger person and do your best to make it work. It's so important.

No matter what our parents have done in the past, we still have to honor the position God has appointed them in our lives.

Many people skip what Paul tells us about the importance of honor before he talks about the full armor of God. It says… ‘Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. “Honor your father and mother”—which is the first commandment with a promise— “so that it may go well with you and that you may enjoy long life on the earth.” ‘

Ephesians 6:1-3

The Daily Journal: Chasin’ The Check

Most people wake up every day ONLY chasing the check. The truth is, you may be at a point in your life where getting the check is the top priority.

Maybe you're in deep debt… maybe you're tired of feeding your kids convenience store food, maybe you have a dying family member who can't make it without you. These are the realities of life and happen EVERY DAY for people all around the world.

The last thing you need to hear is to create another “vision board” or just sit back and let the “universe” take care of everything.

But what do you do when you need cash TODAY to survive. If this is the case for you, it's time to get practical and make things happen. You can only cut expenses so much. You can only reduce your life so much before it stops making sense.

Here's my advice… …
